Fishing Challenge
The Elephant Butte Chamber of Commerce will provide a Fish Mount of your record Fish. If this fish is weighed at one of our certified scales and is released.
Our certified scales will be at Damsite Marina and at Butte General. Mounts for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and Stripers will be awarded after approval from the NM Game and Fish.
Care in transportation of fish is essential when coming from all parts of EB Lake to keep the fish alive. It is requested while fishing for all fish that care is taken to release all fish that are undersize.
